Fulton, Miss. – The Indians improved to 2-0 in North Division play Tuesday with a 1-0 win over East Central.
Early in the game, JB Purvis (Byhalia) scored the game's only goal at the 10th minute.
The Indians (3-2, 2-0 MACCC North) had numerous scoring opportunities throughout the remainder of the contest but were unable to find the net. Eric Velazquez (Tupelo) kept the Warriors off the board to preserve the win and the shutout.
Next up for the Indians is another North Division battle as Holmes comes to Fulton Friday. Opening kick is scheduled for 4 p.m.
