
POPLARVILLE, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College women's soccer team closed the regular season in a 4-0 loss at No. 10 Pearl River on Tuesday.
It was a scoreless affair for the majority of the first half until the Lady Wildcats scored three goals to go up 3-0 inside 15 minutes left until the break. After halftime, Pearl River added one more goal to their lead on their way to the 4-0 win over the Lady Indians.
Millie Webb (Rugby, England) recorded two shots while Liv Norris (Hernando) added one. Annabelle Holman (Amory) had eight saves in the match.
The Lady Indians will start postseason play on Saturday, Nov. 2 when they host No. 12 Jones at 2 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.
