
MONTGOMERY, AL – The Indians delivered a strong performance against Blue Mountain Christian, earning a 6-3 victory behind dominant singles play and key doubles wins.
ICC set the tone early in doubles, claiming two of the three matches. Joan Mateu Ramis Pascual and Knox Waterer battled to a 9-8(4) victory at No. 1, while Ben Orr and Sawyer Ritchie cruised to an 8-0 win at No. 3. Blue Mountain Christian managed to take the No. 2 doubles match, but the Indians entered singles play with the momentum.
Ramis Pascual was in complete control at No. 1 singles, defeating Elio Garner 6-0, 6-3. Waterer followed with a hard-fought 7-6(6), 6-3 win over Leo Schon at No. 2, while Santiago Diaz rallied for a 4-6, 6-3, [10-6] victory at No. 3. Ritchie capped off the win with a commanding 6-0, 6-3 result at No. 6.
Blue Mountain Christian secured wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, but the Indians early dominance proved to be the difference.
