
MONTGOMERY, AL – The Indians fell to Coastal Alabama-South 7-2 at Huntingdon College. The Indians secured victories in No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles.
In doubles play, the Indians' top duo of Joan Mateu Ramis Pascual and Knox Waterer picked up an 8-4 victory over Blake Robertson and Ryan Roberson. However, Coastal Alabama-South responded by winning the next two doubles matches. Lucas Van Splunteren and Enzo Loots edged out Santiago Diaz and Luca Hoffmann 8-5 at No. 2, while Alvaro Velasco and Alvaro Bardales cruised to an 8-1 win over Ben Orr and Sawyer Ritchie at No. 3.
In singles, Ramis Pascual claimed the Indians' second and final win of the day with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Robertson at the No. 1 position. Coastal Alabama-South swept the remaining five singles matches, including a pair of three-set battles. Knox Waterer forced a super tiebreak at No. 2 but fell 6-2, 1-6, [10-7] to Julien Cordeau. Diaz also pushed his opponent to the limit at No. 3 but came up short in a 4-6, 6-3, [10-7] loss to Loots.
