HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Indians (5-5, 0-0 MACCC) dropped a 3-0 decision to Lurleen B. Wallace (6-1) in their third match of the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover on Saturday in three sets (21-25; 22-25; 17-25).
Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) had a team-best 10 kills in the match with Bree Lyons (Oxford) adding eight and McLaine Dorr (Gluckstadt), five.
Lyons led the Indians with nine digs while Michael Ann East (Oxford) added five; and Natalie Nix (Florence, Ala.), Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) and Pendleton, three each. Kylie Graham (Moulton, Ala.) had a team-best 13 assists.
The Indians will be back in action later in the day against Calhoun for their next match of the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover.
