The Indians were led by Tootie Lockett, who scored a career-high 22 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the field and contributing 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals, which also a career-best mark. Jestiny Dixon also had a strong outing, recording 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Leanna Silas added 10 points and 2 steals.
The Lady Indians finished the game shooting 46.3% from the field. They also capitalized on free-throw opportunities, converting 52.9% of their attempts (9-of-17).
Itawamba's rebounding was also a key factor in the win, with the Lady Indians securing 35 boards, including 13 offensive rebounds.
