HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Indians fell in their fifth match of the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover on Sunday, dropping a 3-1 decision against Snead State in four sets (25-22; 18-25; 18-25; 22-25).
After the Indians (5-7, 0-0 MACCC) took the opening set, the Parsons (8-5-1) won the next three to secure the match.
Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) posted a team-best 17 kills in the match while McLaine Dorr (Gluckstadt), Michael Ann East (Oxford), Kendall Finimore (Lewisburg) and Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) each added four.
Pendleton also led the Indians with 13 digs. Natalie Nix (Florence, Ala.) added 12 and Finimore and Isbell, six each. Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) recorded a team-best 16 assists, and Kylie Graham (Moulton, Ala.) added 14.
ICC will be back in action later in the day against Lawson State for their final match of the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover.
