
DECATUR, MS - The Lady Indians earned a 65-56 win over East Central.
After trailing 20-15 in the first quarter, the Lady Indians outscored East Central 20-14 in the second to take a 35-34 halftime lead. A strong third quarter, where ICC held East Central to eight points, helped secure the win.
Tootie Lockett led with 22 points and six assists. Leanna Silas added 11 points and 12 rebounds, while D'Naylah Williams contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
The Lady Indians forced 17 turnovers and held East Central to 12.5% shooting from three-point range. They also won the rebounding battle 36-27.
