
FULTON, Miss. – The No. 15 Lady Indians fought hard but fell short against No. 16 Co-Lin, 5-4.
The Lady Indians fell behind 2-1 after doubles play with Lucia Rubio and Rayssa Dominguez picking up an 8-6 victory in No. 1.
In singles play, Dominguez secured delivered with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 win in No. 1 singles, while Rubio followed with a 6-2, 3-0 victory at No. 2. Addison Joshlin picked up the 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6. Caitlyn Ard, Presley Thomas and Ainsley Robison each fought hard in their matches but ultimately fell short.
The Lady Indians will be back at the Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts on Friday, February 28, when they host Meridian for an 11 a.m. match.
