Game 1: Parsons 5, Indians 2
The Indians dropped Game 1 to the Parsons.
The Indians took an early lead in the second inning after an error allowed a run to score. Snead State tied it in the bottom half with a double and took the lead in the third on a single.
Brock Ware took the loss for Itawamba, pitching five innings and allowing three runs, only one of which was earned. He struck out four and walked two. Bryce Glenn and Reid Kent each had a hit for the Indians, with Glenn driving in a run.
Game 2: Parsons 14, Indians 4
Snead State completed the sweep of the Indians with a 14-4 win in the nightcap.
Snead State took control early, scoring three runs in the first inning while adding another run in the second and three more in the third.
Itawamba fought back in the third when Jud Files hit a two-run home run to center field and Stone Collier singled in a run, cutting the deficit to 4-3. Snead State responded with three runs in the bottom half and continued to extend their lead.
Nathan Reed took the loss for Itawamba, pitching two and one-third innings and allowing six runs, five earned, on seven hits. Files led the offense with two RBIs, going 1-for-2. Jude Treadaway added two hits.
