HANCEVILLE, AL - Itawamba Community College faced Wallace State Community College-Hanceville in a tough matchup, ultimately falling 63-51.
The first quarter was close, with ICC pulling ahead by one point, 17-16. However, Wallace State came out strong in the second quarter, outscoring Itawamba 14-9, and took a five-point lead into halftime (30-25). The third quarter was equally challenging for Itawamba as they managed just six points, allowing Wallace State to extend their lead to 44-31.
In the fourth quarter, ICC showed some fight, scoring 19 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit, and they ultimately lost 63-51.
