From the opening tip, the Indians set the tone, outscoring Gulf Coast 43-30 in the first half and never looking back. The team knocked down 59.1% of their field goals, including an impressive 44.8% from beyond the arc.
Leading the charge was AJ Dent, who delivered a game-high 24 points, draining six three-pointers while adding five rebounds and four assists. James Turner provided a major spark off the bench, pouring in 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting, while Jaden Harper added 19 points of his own, hitting four threes.
Itawamba's balanced attack featured 23 total assists, with Dayveun Anderson dishing out eight, and Damarion Winston adding five. Their defensive intensity also shined, forcing 12 turnovers and racking up 10 steals to keep Gulf Coast off balance.
