FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians made their home debut with a 75-34 win over ASU Mid-South on Monday.
The Lady Indians (3-0) used a late-quarter surge to pull away for a 19-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and held the Lady Greyhounds (0-1) to five points to take a 37-13 advantage at halftime. They Lady Indians scored 19 points in the third and fourth quarter to pull away for the 41-point win.
D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) stretched her double-double streak to three-straight games after scoring a game-high 12 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Alayna Ball (Pontotoc) came off the bench to score 11 while Alexis Gordon (Pontotoc) did the same to add 10 in the win.
The Lady Indians' defense didn't allow any ASU Mid-South players to score in double digits.
ICC will travel to Columbia State on Thursday.
