
WESSON, Miss. – The Indians dropped a pair of road conference games to Co-Lin on Friday.
Game 1: Wolves 11, Indians 0 (7 innings)
Co-Lin got on the board first in the third inning with a two-run home run and followed with seven runs in the fourth. The Wolves added two more to their lead in the bottom of the sixth.
Hank Stalnaker collected the Indians' lone hit in the contest after going 1-for-3 at the plate.
Nathan Reed was the pitcher of record for ICC, going three innings with nine runs allowed on eight hits while striking out four batters and walking three. Noah Robinson and Aidan Williams each came in for relief.
Game 2: Wolves 9, Indians 5
The Indians struck first in the top of the first inning after Reid Kent tripled to score Madden Butler followed by a three-run home run by Bryson Jackson.
The Wolves answered in the bottom half of the inning with two runs and added another in the fourth.
ICC fell victim to a Co-Lin rally in the fifth where the Wolves scored six runs. The Indians got a run back in the sixth when Jarrett Morris scored on a bases-loaded walk.
Brock Ware was the pitcher of record for the Indians as he struck out four batters and walked four while giving up eight runs in four and one-third innings of work.
Kent, Jackson, Butler, Jude Treadaway and Bryce Glenn each recorded a hit in the contest.
