
FAYETTE, Ala. – The Indians picked up its second-straight 3-0 win on Wednesday, this time on the road at Bevill State in three sets (25-16; 25-11; 25-22).
After winning the first set, 25-16, the Indians (8-7, 0-0 MACCC) took care of business, winning the second, 25-11, and the third, 25-22, enroute to the match victory.
Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) led ICC on the attack with 11 kills while Michael Ann East (Oxford) added eight, and McLaine Dorr (Gluckstadt) and Bree Lyons (Oxford), six each.
Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) posted a team-best 15 digs as Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) added 10 to the stat sheet. Kendall Finimore (Lewisburg) led the Indians with three assists while Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth), East and Pendleton each contributed two.
The Indians will return to the Davis Event Center on Monday, Sept. 23, when they open conference play against Meridian at 5 p.m.
