MERIDIAN, Miss. – The Indians shot +64 as a team on their way to a ninth-place finish at the Lou Hart Invitational.
Watkins Dumas (Starkville) had an impressive start for ICC, tying for first place on the player leaderboard after the first round with a -1. He fell back on the second day of the tournament and carded eight-over to finish tied for 11th with a total of +7.
Cooper Williamson (Starkville) finished tied for 20th at +10 after shooting +3 and +7 in rounds one and two respectively. After shooting +13 in the first round, Elliott Overton (Winfield, Ala.) bounced back in the second round with +7 to finish tied for 50th.
Katch Edge (New Hope) finished in 64th place with a total of +27 after shooting +15 and +12, and Woods Mitchell (Eupora) followed with a tie for 65th place after shooting +29 total with a +16 in the first round and +13 in the second.
