
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL – The Indians started strong at the Panama City Beach Invitational, going 2-0 with victories over Snead State and Lurleen B. Wallace.

The Indians took a 3-2 lead in the third inning when Kamdyn Taylor launched a two-run home run to center field.
AB Marlar extended the lead in the fourth with a three-run shot to left, making it 6-2.
Houston-Rae Grantham sealed the win in the seventh, tripling to drive in Taylor and Joryie McKnight for the 8-4 final.
The Indians racked up 12 hits, with McKnight and Marlar each collecting three. Taylor and Ella Duhon added two hits apiece.
Ella Lilly earned the win, allowing seven hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings.

Marlar put the Indians ahead 3-2 in the third with an RBI double.
In the fourth, Laklyn Nichols stole home, and Maddie Porter singled in Duhon to extend the lead to 5-2. Tayler Graham added an insurance run in the fifth, scoring on a groundout by Nichols.
McKnight, Marlar, Taylor, Porter, and Morgan Green each recorded a hit.
Lauren Brown secured the win, giving up two runs on four hits and five walks while striking out one over seven innings.
