TUPELO, Miss. – The Indians finished their non-conference slate with a 2-1 win over Enterprise State at Tupelo High School on Friday.
Midway through the first half, Niclas Schulze (Hoersholm, Denmark) put ICC (2-3, 0-0 MACCC) on the board first on an assist from Elijah Belk (Oxford), then Leander Breidenbruecker (Bizau, Austria) netted the Indians' second goal on an assist from Ronaldo Serna (Olive Branch) heading toward halftime.
After the break, Enterprise State put one into the net early in the second half to cut into ICC's lead. The Indians kept any further scoring opportunities for the Boll Wevills at bay to pick up the 2-1 win.
Up next, the Indians will open MACCC play on Tuesday, Sept. 17, when they travel to Meridian for a 7 p.m. match against the Eagles.
