
FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore libero Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) has been named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, according to a conference announcement Tuesday.
Woolbright helped the Indians go 3-1 last week with wins over Jones, Pellissippi State and Henderson State after posting 67 digs, 15 assists and a pair of service aces throughout the week.
She currently leads the Indians with 266 digs on the season, which is third in the MACCC.
Woolbright and her teammates will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 9, for a 5 p.m. road match against Meridian.
