FULTON, Miss. - Freshmen pitchers Emily Robinson and Madison Jenkins were named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Americans, the organization announced on Friday.
Robinson (Springville, Ala.) was selected as one of four First Team pitchers.
She led the country with nine saves and had a team-high 87 strikeouts with only 19 walks in 88 innings pitched. Robinson averaged 6.92 strikeouts per game and finished with a team-best 1.59 earned run average.
Robinson was also selected as a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American, NFCA All-South Region First Team, NJCAA All-Region 23 Team and was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Pitcher of the Year.
Jenkins (Cleveland) earned Third Team accolades for her performance in the circle this past season.
She finished with a 15-1 record and a 1.93 ERA while striking out 80 batters in 105.1 innings pitched. At the plate, Jenkins had a .267 batting average with four home runs.
Jenkins was also named to the NJCAA All-Region 23 Team and earned First Team all-conference honors.

The Indians finished the season 36-9 overall and 25-3 in conference play. They were regular season champions, conference tournament runner-up and earned a trip to the regional tournament.
