Carrie Ball-Williamson to be inducted into MACJC Sports

FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College Athletic Director
Carrie Ball-Williamson will be inducted into the
Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC)
Sports Hall of Fame in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, April 29
at the Muse Center at the Rankin County Campus of Hinds Community
College.
Williamson, who is in her 21st year at ICC, has been Athletic
Director since 2002 after coaching women’s basketball
(1993-2006) and softball (1993-98). She served 10 years as the
College’s Director of Student Activities and was the
Assistant Director of the NJCAA Region XXIII for 15 years.
She earned the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)
Loyalty Award in 2011, was a member of the 2012 ICC Athletic Hall
of Fame class and was named MACJC Coach of the Year while winning
two North Division championships in basketball and led the Lady
Indians to the three North Division titles and the 1994 MACJC
Championship in softball.
