FULTON – The Itawamba Community College women's basketball team suffered their first loss of the season after falling to No. 7 Pearl River, 75-57, in the Davis Event Center Thursday night.
Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) led the Lady Indians offensively with 16 points while Arianna Durrell (Clinton) added 10.
D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) had a team-best six rebounds. Addison Howell (Olive Branch) also had four rebounds while Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.), Ayonna Naylor (Clinton) and Makayla Rieves (Columbus) each added three.
The Lady Indians (16-1, 4-1 MACCC) will be back in action on Monday, February 5 when they travel to Clarksdale to take on Coahoma at 5:30 p.m.
