FULTON - The Indians enjoyed their second-straight sweep on Monday, October 2, when they took care of business against Gadsden State (25-23; 25-20; 25-9).
Bree Lyons (Oxford) led the scoring charge for the Indians with 11 points while Anna Grace White (Lexington, Ala.) followed her with 8.5 and Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) with eight.
Lyons also had a team-best 11 kills while Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) and Isbell each followed her with seven. White also added five to the stat sheet. Three Indians had double-digit digs in the victory over Gadsden; Kensley Woolbright (Columbus) led the way with 17, Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) followed her with 14 and Lyons added 10.
