FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians defeated Elmhurst Colleg, 5-4, to pick up their fourth-straight win on Thursday.
Julianna Alves and Maggie Creekmore defeated Chiara Gaudio and Dacey Maglaque 8-3 in No. 1 doubles. Caroline Ferguson and Claire Ferguson won 8-3 in No. 3 doubles over Pamela Kobeszko and Bridget Lopez.
Creekmore put the Lady Indians up 3-1 with a 6-3, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles over Maqlaque. Farrah Fowlkes picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win over Lopez in No. 5 singles before Riley Crouch picked up the match securing-victory with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Kobeszko in No. 6 singles.
Elmhurst is a four-year private liberal arts college located in Illinois and is a NCAA DIII school that is a member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
