No. 21 Lady Indians defeat Co-Lin, 8-1

FULTON, MS – The nationally ranked Itawamba Community College women's tennis program extended their current win streak to five on Saturday by defeating Copiah-Lincoln Community College 8-1.

The No. 21 Lady Indians (5-0) dominated the doubles side of the day with two 8-0 wins and a forfeit.

In singles competition, the Lady Indians took five from the Lady Wolves highlighted by a 6-0, 6-1 win by Taylor Patterson (Munford, TN), who is ranked 39th in the nation.

The Lady Indians remain perfect on the year with the win over Co-Lin and they will hit the road for a showdown with Northwest Mississippi Community College Thursday with matches beginning at 2 p.m.
