FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore guard La'Monnie Owens of Olive Branch has signed to continue her basketball career at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn.
In her final season at ICC, Owens recorded 110 points along with 49 rebounds and 17 steals. She posted a career-best 11-point performance in the Lady Indians' 91-51 win against Holmes this past season.
Owens joins the Lady Buccaneers that compete in the Gulf South Conference (GSC) and are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member.
