Hanceville, Ala. – Itawamba Community College women's basketball suffered its first loss of the season Sunday as they fell 66-41 to Wallace State Hanceville.
The Lady Indians (7-1) struggled to find their shot in the first quarter and trailed 20-7 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the offensive struggles continued putting them behind 40-16 at halftime.
After halftime, the Lady Indians did improve on their first half performance but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback as they fell 66-41.
Addison Howell (Olive Branch) scored a team-high 9 points.
The Lady Indians look to rebound from the loss on Tuesday when they hit the road to Decatur, Ala. to face Calhoun at 6 p.m.
