RAYMOND, Miss. – The Indians dropped a pair of game in Friday's doubleheader at Hinds.
Game 1: Hinds 11, Indians 1 (7 innings)
The Indians dropped game one at Hinds, 11-1, in seven innings.
Bo Rock got ICC on the board in the top of the first when he hit a sacrifice fly to score Jude Treadaway.
The Eagles went on to score 11 unanswered runs enroute to the win.
Stone Collier and Treadaway both finished the contest with a hit each.
Ty Wicker was the pitcher of record for ICC, giving up nine runs on nine hits while striking out one batter.
Game 2: Hinds 10, Indians 4
ICC collected six hits as they fell in game two at Hinds, 10-4.
The Indians got on the board in the top of the first when Dre McCray hit an RBI single to score Brock Ware. Hinds responded with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning to take a 2-1 lead.
The Eagles then plated five runs in the second and two in the third to go up 9-1. ICC responded with a two-run home run by Hayden Roberts in the top of the fourth.
The Indians didn't score again until the top of the seventh when Roberts crossed the plate following a wild pitch.
Roberts finished with three hits and two RBI while Ware added two hits and McCray, one.
Ben Davis was the pitcher of record for the Indians, surrendering 10 runs on 10 hits while striking out five batters.
The Indians will be back at Roy Cresap Field on Wednesday when they host No. 12 Northwest.
