
SENATOBIA, Miss. – After an offensive explosion in game one of the doubleheader, the No. 19 Indians were held to only five hits and no runs in the game two as Northwest picked up a 6-0 win.
Of the Indians (21-9, 7-7 MACJC) five hits, two were for extra bases and Jackson Lancaster (Corinth) and Hayden Palmer (Saltillo) hit doubles, but the tribe were unable to get a timely hit to plate either.
Austin King (Fulton) held the Rangers to only five hits as well but a mix of walks and errors by the Indian defense allowed six runs to score but King allowing only one earned run.
The Indians will return to the friendly confides of Roy Cresap Field on Saturday has they begin a three game home stand with a doubleheader with Southwest beginning at 2 p.m.
