Moore earns MACJC Pitcher of the Week honor

FULTON, MS – Freshman Stephon Moore (West Point) was named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Pitcher of the Week for his performance against Mississippi Delta Community College on Wednesday.
The left-handed pitcher gave up one hit and one unearned run while striking out nine and walking three in the complete game effort to pick up his first win of the season. Moore struck out the side in the bottom of the seventh to help seal the Indians' 2-1 Game 2 victory.
Moore and the Indians (21-15, 9-11 MACJC) will be action in action this evening at East Mississippi Community College (11-23, 7-11 MACJC) with the first game of the doubleheader scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
