After picking up their first conference win of the season in game one, the Itawamba Community College baseball team struggled at the plate in the nightcap, falling 3-1.

The Indians (13-7, 1-3 MACJC) trailed 2-0 before Dalton Hudspeth (Louisville) picked up their first hit of the game in the bottom of the third.

The hit gave the Indians a some momentum and they cut the lead in half as Hagan Box (French Camp) reached on en error that allowed Stephon Moore (West Point), who was courtesy running for Hudspeth, to score.

Trailing 2-1, the Indians were unable to push across another run and the Bulldogs (11-7, 2-2) extended their lead in the top of the sixth on a fielder's choice.

In the final two innings, the Indians picked up two hits but were unable to find the late inning heroics they had in game one, and dropped game two, 3-1.

The Indians will host Northeast Mississippi Community College Tuesday March 22 for a MACJC rival doubleheader. First pitch from Roy Cresap Field is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
