
East Central takes game two from Indians, 10-3

DECATUR, MS – East Central Community College had a short memory after being run-ruled by Itawamba Community College in game one of the doubleheader by picking up a 10-3 win in the nightcap.
The Indians (16-16, 10-14 MACJC) jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but the Warriors scored 10 unanswered runs to pick up the victory.
Tanner Poole (Amory) did his best to put the Indians in position to pick up the win with 2-for-4, one homerun and three RBI performance.
The Warriors answered the Indians three run second inning with four runs in the bottom of the frame and they added four more runs in the fifth to put the game out of reach.
The Indians will return home Wednesday for another MACJC twin bill against Holmes Community College before closing out the regular season with Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Sunday.
