“We’re very excited about Londen coming on and joining our program,” said Kirk. “She’s had a stellar career through high school and four excellent years at Ole Miss. She’s going to be a great asset for us on the offensive side, the recruiting side, but she also has a great background with strength and conditioning. So we are excited about her being able to take over and get us to the next level

The three-time North Division champion Lady Indians’ softball team finished the 2013-14 school year with one of the top GPA’s in the nation (3.40) and had three players earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic honors.

The No. 15 ICC softball team took a big step in defending their back-to-back MACJC North Division championships with the program’s first-ever sweep of Northwest Mississippi Community College at Ranger Field on Wednesday.
The No. 19 Lady Indians (18-9, 10-2 MACJC North) were scheduled to face rival Northeast Mississippi Community College on Friday, but will now take on the Lady Tigers (12-20, 7-5 MACJC North) on Monday with Game 1 of the doubleheader scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
“This is a great honor,” said ICC head coach Andy Kirk. “It’s great to see all the hard work and dedication the girls have put into the season be recognized on the national level and hopefully it will make them hungry to work harder to stay ranked amongst the nation’s best programs.”
