
FULTON, Miss. – Itawamba Community College's Annabelle Holman (Amory) continues to be recognized for her impressive freshman season after being named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week, the NJCAA announced Wednesday.
Last week, the freshman keeper recorded four saves in a pair of shutout victories over East Central and Hinds. She also earned her fifth Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week recognition of the season for her performance.
Holman currently leads the Lady Indians with 70 saves on the season, which is fourth in the MACCC and sixth by an ICC player in a single season.
Holman and her teammates will start postseason play Nov. 2 when they host Jones in the Region 23 Quarterfinal Round at the ICC Soccer Complex at 2 p.m.
