Lady Indians season ends with loss to Hinds

FULTON, MS – The Lady Indians 2014 campaign came to close on Friday with a 4-0 loss to Hinds.

It was a season of ups and downs for the Lady Indians. Despite their tireless effort and hard work, they came up just a bit short in most of their 2014 matches. Friday's 4-0 loss to the North Division Champion Lady Eagles closed the book on this trying season.

The Lady Indians (2-12-1, 0-7-1) came out playing scrappy and tough against the Lady Eagles, but were unable to take advantage of any scoring opportunities. The Lady Eagles found a way to score four goals in the first half on keeper Emily Munn (Pontotoc) to take a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Abby Westmoreland (Saltillo) took over as keeper in the second half and picked up several saves keeping the Lady Eagles from extending their lead.

The Lady Indians fell 4-0 to end their season.
