Lady Indians fall to Faulkner University

FULTON, MS - Earlier this week the ICC women's soccer team traveled Montgomery, AL to take on the Faulkner University reserve squad. Three early goals by Faulkner led the Lady Indians falling 4-1.
The Lady Indians trailed early as the Faulkner reserve team jumped out to a 3-0. However, Hannah Anderson (New Albany) answered with a goal, assisted by Alyssa Kelley (Saltillo).
After four fairly quick goals, the scoring slowed down despite numerous scoring opportunities by the Lady Indians. It was late in the game before Faulkner scored their fourth and final goal to pick up the 4-1 win. The Lady Indians are 1-6.
Looking to bounce back, the Lady Indians travel to Wesson today for a regular season matchup with Co-Lin. Game scheduled for 4 p.m.
