BETHLEHEM, TN – Freshman Lindsey Burton (Caledonia) scored off an assists from sophomore Haley Walker (Tupelo), sophomore Lauren Swee (Chelsea, AL) and freshman Morgan Odle (New Albany) to help lead the Lady Indians to a 4-1 victory over Union University on Tuesday.

Leading 1-0 at the half, sophomore Ashley Malone (Michie, TN) put the Lady Indians ahead for good with an unassisted goal early in the second half.

The three-goal performance was Burton's first hat trick of the season and gives her a team-high six goals on the year. Malone has five, Walker four with Olive Heine (Madison) and Sarah Hern (Columbus) each adding one goal to the scoring total.

Walker leads the team in assist with six, Burton and Malone each have three with Katie Proctor (Columbus), Odle and Swee with one assist each.

The Lady Indians (4-4-1, 3-1 MACJC North) will host No. 14 Jones County Junior College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with free admission to the public.
