FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore pitcher Alyssa Clifft has been named to the 2025 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region Second Team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced.
Clifft, a standout in the circle for the Indians this season, appeared in 27 games with 25 starts. She posted an 18-8 record with 20 complete games, striking out 168 batters across 156.2 innings. Her strikeout total ties the ICC single-season record. She also finished the season with a 2.06 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP, limiting opponents to 123 hits and 46 earned runs.
Her 18 victories place her fifth on ICC's all-time list for single-season wins. Earlier this month, she was also named to the All-MACCC First Team.
The NFCA All-Region awards recognize student-athletes from the Association's three NJCAA Division II regions. Member head coaches nominate and vote on players within their regions. The 2025 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-America teams will be announced June 2.
