
Softball extends win streak to 12 with win over Gadsden State

GADSDEN, AL - The Indians sent 15 batters to the plate and scored 11 runs in the top of the first inning en route to a 12-4 victory over Gadsden State (AL) Community College on Sunday.
Addie Thompson (Hamilton) and Mamie Hollendhead (Mathiston) each had a three-run home run to highlight the 11-run inning.
Hollenhead was a triple away from hitting for the cycle.
Katlin McDuffy (Iuka) improved to 5-0 on the season after throwing two innings of hitless and scoreless softball.
