
FULTON, Miss. – Three ICC softball players received postseason honors when the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) released its all-conference teams on Tuesday.
Allie Beckley of Pontotoc received All-MACCC Second Team honors while Sammie Day-Jones of Ragland, Ala. and Tamiya Martin of Nettleton were named All-MACCC Honorable Mention.
Beckley finished her ICC career with a .330 batting average and a .347 on-base percentage. She had 31 hits, 25 runs scored, 10 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. She also finished with a .970 fielding percentage and recorded 62 putouts and three assists in right field.
At the plate, Day-Jones recorded a .384 batting average and a .458 on-base percentage while having 48 hits, 28 runs scored, 16 RBIs and seven stolen bases. She also finished her ICC career with a .986 fielding percentage along with 69 putouts as a centerfielder for the Indians.
Martin ended her sophomore season with a .368 batting average and a .422 on-base percentage. She also had 49 hits, 23 runs scored, 18 RBIs and 22 stolen bases. In left field, she finished with an .827 fielding percentage along with 66 putouts and two assists.
