Indians take care of Wabash Valley, 7-2

BOONEVILLE, MS – The Indians notched their second win of the Tigerfest with a 7-2 victory over Wabash Valley College in Booneville.
ICC jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead through the first two innings of play before Wabash battled back to plate two runs in the top of the fourth. The Indians answered with a three spot in the bottom half of the inning before picking up the victory.
Caroline Dickins (Batesville), Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston), and Alex Brown (Pontotoc) each had a pair of hits. Hollenhead, Meg Sullivan (Springville, AL), and Kaitlyn Rhodes (Alexandria, AL) each had two RBI in the win.
Carleigh Mills (Corinth) picked up her second win of the season after giving up one earned run on seven hits and five walks to go along with two strikeouts in six innings of work.
