Mills pitches gem in win over No. 6 Gulf Coast

PERKINSTON, MS - Freshman pitcher Carleigh Mills (Kossuth) pitched a gem in the Indians' 1-0 win over No. 6 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Friday.
Sheneria Tyes (Baldwyn) pushed across Addie Thompson (Hamilton) in the top of the second inning to give the Indians a 1-0 lead and Mills took care of the rest.
Behind a solid defensive performance, Mills scattered three hits and walking three batters while striking out five in the complete game shutout victory.
Maura Jane Autry (Holly Springs) went two-for-two in the victory.
