Lady Indians swept by Jones County

ELLISVILLE, MS - The Lady Indians were swept by red-hot Jones County on Thursday.
Game 1 - Jones County 9 Lady Indians 0 (5 innings)
The Lady Inidans only managed four hits in their 9-0 five-inning Game 1 loss with Haley Moore (Booneville) going 2-for-2 while Heather Dillard (New Albany) and Emilee Henderson (Burnsville) added a pair of singles in the loss.
Game 2 - Jones County 8 Lady Indians 5
The Lady Indians bounced back to make a game of things with three runs in the top of the seventh, but couldn't get over the hump as the Lady Bobcats held on for an 8-5 victory to complete the sweep.
Rachel Elder (Guntown) went 1-for-2 with a pair of runs scored while Henderson drove in a pair of runs on a double and Kory Watterson (Nesbit) pushed across another run on a single.
Moore finished 2-for-4 with Catherine Carver (Hernando) and Dillard rounded out the Lady Indians' 7 hits.
