PERKINSTON, MS – After winning a thriller over Jones County Junior College Friday,  Itawamba Community College didn't get any time to rest as they took on a tough Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College team Saturday.

The Indians battled through every set but came up just short, falling 5-4 to the Bulldogs.

Michael Crotts (New Albany) and Roberto Valadez (New Albany) picked up the Indians lone win in doubles action with a tough 9-7 win in No. 3 doubles.

Crotts also won his singles matches with Crotts winning No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-7 (12).

Chris Shands (New Albany) and Ezra Blissard (Houston) won their singles matches as and the Indians who came up short lost in hard fought matches.

The Indians look to wrap up the regular season Thursday when they travel to New Albany to face Northeast Mississippi Community College.
