
Baseball, Softball doubleheaders moved to Friday

FULTON, MS – Mother Nature has thrown a last-second wrinkle in this week's plans for the nationally-ranked Itawamba Community College baseball and softball teams.
The No. 16 ICC baseball (25-9, 12-6 MACJC) team was originally scheduled to face East Central Community College (26-12, 12-8 MACJC) on Saturday, but will now travel to Decatur to face the Warriors in a conference doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m. Friday, available at www.eccc.edu/eccc-media.
The Indians are currently in third place in the MACJC with 10 games left in the regular season.
The No. 6 ICC softball (34-10-1, 21-5 MACJC) team was scheduled to square off against Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Saturday, but will also hit the road to wrap up the regular season on Friday when face they Wolves (17-21, 12-14 MACJC) starting at 2:00 p.m. in Wesson, available at www.colinathletics.com.
The Indians are in fourth place in the conference and would take over the three spot with a sweep of Co-Lin.
