
Caleb Ballard (Shannon) was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Academic All-State team after finishing his final season at ICC with a 3.57 GPA.

The MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 Champion ICC men’s tennis team finished 15th finish in the 2014 NJCAA Men’s DI National Tennis Tournament at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas.

Rains in Texas has thrown the schedule for the NJCAA DI Men’s National Tennis Tournament into a frenzy.

After rain delayed his opening match on Monday, Coins (Millington, TN) ran the gauntlet of playing three matches on the second day of the NJCAA DI Men’s National Tennis Tournament in Plano, TX.

The ICC men’s tennis team had a strong opening the 2014 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men’s National Tennis Tournament winning three of five singles matches on Monday at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas.

The Indians team left little doubt in winning the MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 Championships this weekend at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

“It’s going to be a battle because it’s a whole different mindset when it comes to these type tournaments,” said Johnson. “There will be a lot of tennis played over three days and you have to be ready mentally to fight through the a lot of challenges other than the person on the other side of the net.”

The ICC men's tennis team rolled to their second-straight 9-0 victory when they defeated the Hinds Community College Eagles on Saturday.

The ICC men's tennis team opened the season with an impress 9-0 win over Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Friday.
