Unfavorable weather conditions dampen Day 2 of the NJCAA Golf Championship

FOLEY, Ala. - Unfavorable weather conditions sent scores soaring on the second day of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday.

Cameron Foster carded an 80 (+8) to slip into a four-way tie for 71st with Jacob Beck of Black Hawk (IL) College, Reinhardt Saunderson of Southwestern (NC) Community College, and Hunter Maines of Surry (NC) Community College with a 157 (+13) two-day total.

Foster started the morning with a par on No. 1 before back-to-back bogies on No. 7 and No. 8 capped off a four-over front-nine. After just under an hour-long weather delay, Foster birdied No. 10 to move to three-over on the day but a double bogie on No. 11 mix with bogies on No. 12, No. 16, and No. 18 sent him to clubhouse with a four-over back-nine.

South Mountain (AZ) Community College's Jeffrey Miller moved into the top individual spot with a 139 (-5) while Meridian Community College moved into first place as the only team under par with a 579 (-3) total through two days of competition.
