Indians finish 8th in Northwest Invitational

SOUTHAVEN, MS – ICC struggled to adjust to drastic changes in weather conditions and slipped four spots to finish eighth after firing a 329 on the final day of the Invitational for a two-day total 629 (+53).
Kirk Reeder (Tupelo) finished the Invitational tied for 14th after a two-day total of 149 (+5) after carding an opening round 74 (+2) with a 75 (+3) on the final day of play.
Nick Brown (Mooreville) carded a two-day total 156 (+12) to finish tied for 23rd after posting an opening round 74 (+2) and an 82 (+10) to close out the Invitational.
Andrew McDonald (Fulton) finished tied for 41st with a 163 (+19) when he carded a final round 90 (+18) after turning in an opening round 73 (+1).
Brandon Walker (Vardaman) and Mark Tipton finished tied for 47th after totaling 166 (+22). Walker opened the Invitational with a 79 (+7) before closing with an 87 (+15). Tipton started the two-day event with an 81 (+9) and finished the final round with an 85 (+13).
Todd Harrell had the best turnaround of the tournament with a final day 79 (+7) after carding an opening round 92 (+20). The Vardaman native finished 54th with a 171 (+27).
James Dale (Hernando) finished 59th with a 203 (+59) after finishing day one with a 97 (+25) and struggling with the weather conditions to card a 106 (+34) on the final day of play.
The Indians carded a 300 to earn the No. 4 spot after the opening round of the Invitational.
