Game 1: No. 11 Indians 3, Snead State 2
Trailing 1-0, the Indians scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth when Chloe Morgan drove in Mattie Meine and Hope Harbin with a hit to left field.
The Parsons rallied to tie the game with a home run in the top of the sixth inning, but Morgan had the answer for the Indians with a single to score Harbin and give the Indians their second-straight walk-off victory.
Morgan had three hits while Harbin add two more hits in the Indians' 8-hit performance.
Kaylee Nelson improved to 4-0 on the season after giving up one earned on three hits while striking out two runs.
Game 2: Snead State 9, No. 11 Indians 4
Snead State rallied with back-to-back four-run innings in the fourth and fifth to earn the split with a 9-4 win in the nightcap.
McKenzie Patterson gave the Indians a 1-0 lead with her first-ever collegiate home run in the bottom of the second inning. The Parsons answered with a run in the top of the third but the Indians got the lead back after Harbin doubled and scored when Briana Posey reached on an error in the bottom half of the inning.
Meine doubled to score Mary Kate Butler in the fourth. Kameron Miller doubled and scored on a ground out in the seventh.
The game was respectfully called with one out in the bottom of the seventh after Snead State's third baseman was injured after being hit by a line drive.
Meine had a pair of hits in the loss.
