ICC golf wraps up season in MACJC Championship

COLUMBUS, MS - The Itawamba Community College golf team wrapped up their season after carding a two-day total of 613 (+37) to finish tied for eighth in the MACJC Golf Championship at Lion Hills.
Mississippi Gulf Coast, East Mississippi, Meridian, Copiah-Lincoln, and Jones County Junior College will advance to next weekend's NJCAA Region 23 Championship at Laurel Country Club.
Sophomore Wilson Reeder (Tupelo) will participate in the region tournament after medaling with a 145 (+1) in the conference tournament.
JR Wright (Aberdeen) finished tied for 29th with a 154 (+10), Jacob Dixon (Baldwyn) finished tied for the 36th with a 155 (+11), Will Moore (Baldwyn) finished 42nd at 161 (+17), and Luke Hatcher (Pontotoc) carded a 166 (+17) to finish 45th in Columbus.
